Samsung Electronics has announced the launch of a new Computer monitor with a built in wireless charging pad. The idea is that as Qi enabled phones (Samsung S3, S4, S5, S6 ) become more widely available, a built in pad could help unclutter your desk. No more usb charging cables. The SE370 monitor will come in 23.6-inch and 27-inch formats and is the industry's first to have an integrated wireless charging station, the South Korean manufacturer said Monday. Your phone will have to support the Qi wireless charging standard, which was developed by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) and is supported by makers such as Samsung, Sony, Google, LG, HTC, Nokia, Microsoft and Huawei.
